Representing BI WORLDWIDE in the big debate, Operations Director Shaun Casey joined FRHI Hotels and Resorts’ fifth Global Meeting Exchange discussion panel in Monte Carlo.
Comparing full service agencies to small specialist companies, Shaun was able to share his experiences on why clients choose certain types of agencies, elaborating brand experience, and content and engagement requirements.
Shaun explains: “There was a great emphasis on ROO (Return of Objective) and insights on hotel pricing and expenditure during the debate.“
The annual event also involved one-to-one meetings with 35 hoteliers from Fairmont, Raffles Hotels and Swissotels, allowing event professionals to learn more about new hotels and gain product and technology updates.
There was also a series of plenaries and breakout sessions led by Dr Gerald Lyons, the Chief Economist of Boris Johnson, giving his perspective on the global economy.
Shaun continues: “The event was extremely positive because of the quality of the educational exchanges and workshops I attended as well as the efficiency of the one-to-one meetings.
“I was also able to network with various industry counterparts from around the world.”
FRHI is a valued supplier at BI WORLDWIDE and the events team will be attending a service excellence training course at one of FRHI’s flagship hotels.
