BI WORLDWIDE Events News: offering new and unique in:sight into emerging event destinations and technologies

Our Events Management team at BI WORLDWIDE is proud to announce the launch of in:sight, supporting a whole host of new Event initiatives. One significant project under the in:sight theme is a series of investigative event reports on emerging destinations, starting with Rwanda.

A small number of BI WORLDWIDE Event Management Associates will be travelling to various destinations, completing a journalistic-style investigation for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) industry.

In:sight on Rwanda

The team will be heading out to Rwanda at the end of this month taking part in Gorilla trekking, visiting local villages and investigating venues and accommodation to see if Rwanda is an emerging destination for the Events industry.

BI WORLDWIDE’s Events Design Director Katrina Rannard will be traveling to Rwanda alongside Events Project Executive Teresa Allen.

Katrina comments:  “It’s not about organising just another familiarisation trip. We are spending time with National Government Tourism representatives, Hotel Associations and Airlines during the trip to understand future investment in the MICE industry.

"We have recognised that clients today who are growing up using technology have a wealth of information at their fingertips to inspire them to pursue experiential events anywhere in the world. We want to ensure that BI WORLDWIDE remains a trusted partner for this new generation of buyer.”

In:sight on the future of event technology

BI WORLDWIDE’s Event Management strategy is based on delivering conference content through production services, engaging audience with the support of its in-house technology solutions group and underpinning brand experience through a six-star approach to customer excellence.

Head of Events Shaun Casey states: “In today’s highly competitive marketplace, it is important for an agency to differentiate itself significantly from the competition. BI WORLDWIDE does this through its unique combination of production, technology and people with the right attitude to deliver a premium experience for our clients. In addition, we consider ourselves as thought leaders in our space and we wanted to create an overarching theme to encompass all of the good things we are doing.”

More destinations are to be launched during the course of 2017. An interesting in:sight into the use of technology for audience engagement and measuring ROI is scheduled in the second half of this year.

Keep your eyes peeled!

We will be sharing Katrina and Teresa's time spent in Rwanda through our blog and Events Twitter. Be sure to follow our in:sightful story on Rwanda.
