BI WORLDWIDE has been awarded the Payroll Giving Silver Award 2014, as a symbol of excellence for the number of Associates who monthly donate a percentage of their salary to charity.
Payroll Giving is an optional benefit available to all BI WORLDWIDE Associates, allowing individuals to donate to any charity of their choice.
Some of the charities which have received a donation through this scheme are: Save the Children, Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity, RSPCA, Help the Hospices, Tongabezi Trust School, NSPCC, and Women for Women.
Managing Director Mike Davies comments: “One of our core values is to be ‘respectful’. Not only to each other, but also to our community, the environment and to support charitable organisations.”
“In addition to our payroll giving scheme, each year our Associates choose a charity that we then direct our fundraising efforts towards supporting. Our team regularly organise company bake offs, BBQs, quizzes and sponsored events as well as supporting national campaigns such as Movember and Macmillan’s coffee morning.”
BI WORLDWIDE then doubles the money raised by Associates through its Matched Giving programme. Over the next year BI WORLDWIDE is supporting Children Are Butterflies, a local charity that supports bereaved parents after the loss of a child.
