As part of our 30th anniversary of Partners in Success on 25 February, 75 business partners attended a variety of working sessions at our Newport Pagnell offices followed by cocktails, dinner and an awards ceremony at the Aston Martin Works.
After presenting our business strategy for the ambitious growth of the event management division, business partners were given the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of three key areas of the business: Sales and Marketing, Contracting and Procurement, and Event Solutions Design.
Operations Director Shaun Casey, comments: “A diverse range of subjects were covered in the working sessions. Everything from our lead generation and nurturing process and how social media supports this activity, through to data protection clauses in contracting and procurement best practices.
“Probably the most enthusiastic feedback about the sessions was reserved for our Event Solutions Design workshop. Lesley-Anne Brandon, Design Director in the New Business Team showcased how our way of presenting concepts and content to clients has moved on dramatically over the years.”
The Aston Martin Works provided the perfect back-drop to the awards ceremony. There were 11 categories recognising achievements from airlines, hotels and destination management companies alike.
The Aston Martin management team decided to spring a little surprise on BI WORLDWIDE with the display of 30-year-old vintage Aston Martins to underline the 30th anniversary of the event.
