We’ve seen a great start to this financial year in terms of our events business and, now we’re over half way through, we thought it was time to have a look back over the first two quarters and report on its success.
So far, we’ve seen strong growth for all events, and the pipeline of forward events opportunities is at record levels since we entered the market in 2001.
To the end of December 2011, we’re delighted to report that confirmed events business has increased more than 20% year-on-year, and the current opportunities pipeline is more than three times the size it was two years ago. Growth is in all areas and sectors of our incentive, conference and product launch business. David Battley, Director of Events, notes that "whilst all our business areas are improved, we have seen a noticeable improvement in client spend on communication events for employees and customers, as well as a significant pick up in event needs from our European and global client base."
Client wins have been in technology, automotive, manufacturing and finance sectors.
