Day 2: New York, New York
New York – THE place to start getting you in the Christmas spirit!
No Christmas events countdown would be complete without including a New York activity.
BI WORLDWIDE’s Events Project Director, Katrina Armstrong, loves spending Christmas in New York:
"My favourite time to visit New York is during the festive season. The best time to start your winter break is just after the Thanksgiving holidays as you’ll grab yourself some fabulous Christmas bargains on the Black Friday sales.
“There’s nothing more special than gliding across the ice with the city skyline in the background at Central Park. Not only is the ice skating rink situated not far from the Plaza hotel, but it also offers the most beautiful view of the city. It really does take your breath away.”
Once you have had your fill of ice skating, catch a festive horse and carriage to 5th avenue to shop and admire the incredible window decorations at Saks and Bergdorf Goodman. Continue to the Rockefeller Centre, where you can admire the 76 foot tall Christmas Tree and grab some roasted chestnuts from a street vendor.
Last stop, Radio City for the Christmas Spectacular! You could even go behind the scenes with the famous Rockettes.
If New York sounds like a perfect incentive for your group, whatever the season, get in touch today and see how we can help you create that unforgettable trip for your colleagues.
